• ORDYM part of the project takes place in the Komi Republic in Russia.  Ordym in Komi means path.
• Komi offers substantial potential for developing culture tourism. Komi’s infrastructure is more developed than that of the Nenets region, which will facilitate the introduction of travel services to the area. In 2010, the culture tourism project was extended to the Komi Republic.
• The project will create, develop and market culture and package tour services on ethnically, ethically and ecologically sustainable basis from the regions’ indigenous peoples’ own perspective and starting points by means of networking, product development and training.
• The Sámi Education Institute in Inari, Finland is serving as the Lead Partner in the project.  The ORDYM partners include Komi Voityr, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Komi, the JSC Investment Support Foundation of the Republic of Komi and Ministry of National Policies of the Republic of Komi.
• The ORDYM part of the project is financed by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland out of the funds allocated for neighbouring area cooperation with 329 000 €. In addition, there is local contribution.
